Dollie M. Thompson, 83, of Laurelville, passed away on Nov. 12, 2015.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1932, in Hocking County, to Leslie and Wanda (Kuhn) Dillie.
Dollie was a member of VFW Post 8675 Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Harless; brothers, Clayton, Clarence, Arthur, Wingett and Harry Dillie; and by nephews, Rodney Dillie and Ted Hart.
Dollie is survived by her husband, Jack Thompson; sons, Jerry (Sharon) and Donald (Cheryl) Thompson; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Andrea (Curtis), Russell, Jeremy (Rhonda), Becky (Mert), Kara and Diana (Brian); great-grandchildren, Shayla, Laney, Darren, Dillon and many more; and by siblings, Avanelle (Francis) Hart, Ethel (Carl) Hart and Edith (Arnold) Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with Rev. James Vandagriff officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
