Carol Luan Copper, 82, of Frankfort, died at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe.
She was born on May 7, 1933, in Ashville, the daughter of the late Russell and Nellie Stevens Thomas.
On June 15, 1973, she married William S. Copper, who preceded her in death on April 12, 2000.
Surviving are her children, Deema (Stephen) Tackett of Frankfort, Jeanette (Mal) Corey of Frankfort and Tony (Ally) Copper of Xenia; step-children, Michael, Debbie and Greg Copper; grandchildren, Joshua (Stacey) Tyler, Dallas Tyler, Christopher Tackett, Elijah Corey and Serenity Helen Copper; step-grandchildren, Aaron, Destiny and Adam Corey; great-grandchildren, Landon, Isabella, Adysan, Adyson, Zoey, Ashland, Alex and Colton; and sister, Joyce Bostic of Maderia, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Beau Keller; great-grandson, A.J. Corey; and sister, Norma Jean.
Carol graduated from Commercial Point High School. She was a member of the Frankfort Baptist Church and served as an EMT for the Concord Township EMS, Frankfort. Carol bowled in leagues at Shawnee Lanes and 20th Century Lanes for many years.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, with Pastor Paul Winks officiating. Burial will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
