Staff Reports

The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:

– Kyle Blazer, 27, of Frankfort, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.

– Kyle R. Cockerham, 32, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to attempted felony assault. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison at Orient.

– Carey E. Gilpen Jr., 44, of Logan Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.

– Lindsay M. Hoel, 26, of Charleston, West Virginia, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– Chao Jolly, 23, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. Jolly was sentenced to 11 months in state prison (suspended) and three years of community control.

– James L. Morrison II, 30, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to non-support of dependents. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– Ralph L. Netter, 48, of Chillicothe, pleaded not guilty to possession of heroin. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 13.

– Gary W. Nicolia, 21, of Eisenhower Drive, Circleville, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and having weapons under disability. He was sentenced to 18 months in state prison at Orient.

– Lyndsey J. Pauley, 36, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. She was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended) and five years of community control.

– Cody J. Spears, 20, of Lovely, Kentucky, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana. A pretrial hearing is set for Dec. 11.

– Christian A. Welsh, 21, of Lancaster Pike, Circleville, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to 10 months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.
