Donald Morrison, 69, of Tarlton, passed away on Oct. 31, 2015, at Riverside Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 12, 1946, the son of the late Dick and Marjorie (Hettinger) Morrison.
He was a 1965 graduate of Centralia High School. On June 14, 1968, Donald married his wife of 47 years, Karen (Jenkins) Morrison.
Donald is survived by his wife; son, Jason (Teresa) Morrison; daughter, Abby (John) Clark; brothers, Pete (Carroll) Morrison, Dave (Sue) Morrison, Ronnie (Debbie) Morrison and Spank Morrison; sisters; Betty (Phil) Linton and Shirley (Gary) Dennis; grandchildren, Tyler, Jace, Gabe and Mariah Morrison and Devon Justice; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Patty) Jenkins, Dennis (Janet) Jenkins, Perry Dean Jenkins and Jim Jenkins; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Wayne) Bussert; good friend, Charlie Hayes; several nieces and nephews; and many other special family and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary “Chic” Morrison; and sister-in-law, Mary Morrison.
Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a good neighbor and enjoyed spending time with his family. Donald loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all of his heart.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, with Rev. Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow at Tarlton Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hill’s.
