
PICKAWAY COUNTY – Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls of all ages are getting ready for a week packed with Halloween festivities across Pickaway County. From traditional trick-or-treating to costume contests and haunted history, families have plenty of chances to collect candy, show off their costumes, and celebrate the spooky season safely.
Pickaway-Ross CTC Truck or Treat October 23, 2025 from 5 pm – 6:30 pm
Pickaway-Ross CTC welcomes families for a festive Trunk or Treat on the main campus. Guests can stroll trunk-to-trunk for candy, enjoy creative costumes, and celebrate the season in a safe, family-friendly setting. Costumes are encouraged. Located at 895 Crouse Chapel Road.
🎃 South Bloomfield HalloweenFest & Trick-or-Treat
The fun begins Saturday, October 25, with South Bloomfield’s community Trick-or-Treat from 2–4 p.m. Kids can roam the neighborhood in costume, then head over to HalloweenFest 2025 at 5000 Park Place for an evening of inflatables, games, food trucks, and a live DJ from 4–7 p.m. Costume contests and photo booths will make the celebration one to remember.
👻 Trick-or-Treat in the Park
Also on October 25, from 2–4:30 p.m., families can enjoy Trick-or-Treat in the Park at 16405 U.S. 23, South Bloomfield. The Pickaway County Park District will host a family-friendly event featuring festive trick-or-treat stations along paved and grassy paths. Registration is available online, and all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
🚗 Trunk-or-Treat Events
If you prefer candy on four wheels, several trunk-or-treats are planned:
- First Church of God Community Worship Center (25822 St. Rt. 159, Circleville) — Oct. 25 at 4 p.m.
- Commercial Point Community Men’s Club Foundation (26 W. Scioto St.) — Oct. 25 from 4–7 p.m., featuring a creative costume contest at 5 p.m.
- Ohio Christian University Trunk or Treat — Oct. 27, 6–9 p.m., with a Sensory Hour from 6–7 p.m. for families who prefer a calmer experience.
🎭 Downtown Circleville Halloween Fun Night
Head downtown on Tuesday, October 28 for Downtown Circleville Halloween Fun Night. Trick-or-treating runs from 5–6 p.m., followed by a costume contest in Pumpkin Show Park at 6:15 p.m. Sponsored by the City of Circleville, this event gives kids a safe, festive way to celebrate.
🏠 Trick-or-Treat in the Hallways
Also on October 28, The Wyngate at Circleville (745 Northridge Rd.) will host an indoor trick-or-treat from 6–7 p.m., where residents will hand out candy in both buildings. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome.
👻 Haunted History: Ghost Lore & Legends of Pickaway County
For those who love a good scare, the Pickaway County Library will host a free evening of ghost stories and local legends on October 29 from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at 1160 N. Court St., Circleville.
🍬 City of Circleville Residential Trick-or-Treat
The city’s official trick-or-treat night will be Thursday, October 30, from 6–8 p.m. Families are reminded to wear bright costumes, carry flashlights, and stick to well-lit homes.
🎬 Halloween Movie Night
Wrap up the Halloween fun with a showing of “Hocus Pocus” on Friday, October 31 at Ted Lewis Park, starting at 7 p.m. Costumes are encouraged for this outdoor movie night.
