Pickaway County – A 59-year-old man was charged with abduction and other charges stemming from domestic violence recently.
According to Pickaway County Sheriffs’ office, domestic violence broke out in the home located at 21000 blocks of Five points pike, when Larry Schwalbauch and a significant other got into a verbal argument, that escalated into him smashing items in the home and when she said she was going to leave he took her car keys and phone to prevent her from leaving and calling 911. The victim in this case then left the home and attempted to walk away, but Larry caught up to her and threw her to the ground and grabbed her by the hair and clothing and drug her back to the home.
When deputies arrived they found the victim injured and called for an ambulance, Larry had fled the scene, but a warrant for his arrest was issued and he was arrested a couple weeks later.
Larry has been charged with Abduction, Domestic violence, and Assault and currently is in Pickaway County Jail
