A swift and coordinated response from local fire departments successfully contained a fire at the PPG facility in Circleville on November 14, 2024.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to the scene, where they found an active fire on the roof. A commercial fire assignment was initiated, and firefighters executed an aggressive attack to contain the blaze to its point of origin.
Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) teams conducted an investigation, while crews ensured complete extinguishment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
