Pickaway County Fairgrounds Crown Queen and King

PICKAWAY – Pickaway County Fairgrounds crown the Queen and King during the festivities tonight.

New Pickaway County Queen is Ambrosia Havan, 17 Daughter of Alicia Hall, and Nick Evans. Ambrosia is a Five-year member of the Scioto Scrappin’ & More 4-H Club where she has served as the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Ambrosia is an Ohio 4-H Teen youth member to the Pickaway 4-H Committee. She is also a Three-year member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board where she has served as the Vice President and community volunteer and loves working with people. Ambrosia is a recent graduate of TRECA Digital Academy and will attend the Ohio State University and major in Environmental Science and Microbiology.

New Pickaway County King is Riley Minor, 17 Minor is son to Michelle and Greg Minor of Circleville. Riley is a 9-year member of the Pickaway Bandits 4-H Club where he has served as Health and Hafey officer and as a camp counselor. Riley is also a3 year member of Westfall FFA where he served as Treasurer and Sentinel. Riley is currently serving on the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board. His goals are to participate in mission trips and severance activities. He hopes to attend the Ohio State University to major in Ag Engineering and to compete on the state Rifle team.

1st Attendant Alexus Henry is a three-year member of Teays Valley FFA, Four-year Member of 4-H, and a member of the Pickaway County Junior Fair Board. Henry has served as the Sentinel and is currently the President of her FFA Chapter. She is a member of the National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society. Alexis loves to bake, collect records, and go antiquing. Alexis would like to further her education after school by studying Environmental Science in hopes of becoming a Park Ranger. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Joshua and Melisa Henry of Ashville.

 

1st Attendant Cody Hunt, 16 son of Angela and Brad Hunt of Ashville. He will be a junior at Teays Valley High School/Eastland Career Center. Cody has been a member of the Madison Livewires 4-H club for eight years where he has severed as the President and Vice President as well as a county 4-H camp counselor. Cody is also a two-year member of the Teays Valley FFA. Cody is a member of the Varsity Cross County, Track and Wrestling teams. His plans for the future include owning and operating his own auto garage and a racing team.
