CIRCLEVILLE – Penny Jo McKnight, 54, of Circleville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 15, 2021. She was born June 21, 1966 in Circleville, Ohio. Penny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed caring for her family, always thought of others first and was an avid football and baseball fan. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Chuck” Salyers and grandparents, Everett and Edith Salyers and Frank and Donna Smallwood. Penny is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dan McKnight; children, Amber Binkley and Charles (Erin) McKnight; 6 grandchildren; mother, Barbara Salyers; siblings, Susie (Paul) Williams, Charles “Steve” Salyers, Laura Ackinclose, and Candy (Chris) Brust; mother-in-law, Myrtle Mcknight; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021 from 4-8 PM at the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 East Main St., Circleville, OH 43113 where funeral service will be held 10 AM Tuesday. Interment Jackson Twp. Cemetery.
