Pickaway – A semi crash occurred overnight on US-23 that caused some slowdowns in the area
Around 1:30 am Pickaway County Township fire department was called to a crash on US-23 in the area of Pittsburgh Road. According to the reports, the semi turned Northbound on US-23 from Pittsburg Road when the box truck operated by Nieves Transport was heading Northbound and went through the red light at a high rate of speed crashing into the back of the semi.
The semi was carrying cold medical supplies, and it was not reported what the box truck was carrying. It took several hours to remove the semis from the roadway and one lane was shut down for around two hours.
