Ohio Public Invited to Learn About Fish and Wildlife Management and Provide Input on Hunting Seasons

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife is hosting open houses across the state and inviting public comment on proposals for the 2024-25 hunting and trapping seasons.

Open House Dates: Monday, March 4 to Friday, March 8

Online Comment Period: Until Wednesday, March 13

During the open houses, residents can:

  • Meet with wildlife experts
  • Learn about proposed hunting and trapping season dates and bag limits for white-tailed deer, waterfowl, and small game
  • Provide feedback on the proposals

Open houses will be held at all six ODNR Division of Wildlife district offices during normal business hours (8 am to 5 pm). Extended hours are available on Wednesday, March 8, until 7 pm.
