UPDATE: According to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Chief Dog Warden, charges have officially been filed with the Hocking County Prosecutors Office.
On this day, March 2, 2020 Brandon James Smith 25 of Logan has been charged two times on each count and the charges are as follow.
1. Prohibitions concerning companion animals (Felony 5th degree) X2
2. Failure to register/tag dogs (Misdemeanor) X2
3. Failure to dispose of animals remains (Misdemeanor) X2
As with all cases, subjects are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
