Circleville, OH – April 30, 2024

In a joint effort to assist families in need, the Circleville Sunrise Rotary and local Kiwanis clubs, in partnership with Bottoms Up of Lancaster, have launched a month-long diaper drive throughout May. With a lofty goal of gathering 30,000 diapers, the initiative aims to provide essential support to families across Pickaway County.

Designated collection boxes are conveniently located at various community hubs, including FORJAK, Health Care Logistics, Kingston National Bank, Pickaway County Community Action (PICCA), the Pickaway County Family YMCA, Pickaway County Library, and the Savings Bank. Residents are encouraged to contribute to this worthy cause by dropping off unused diapers at any of these locations.

For those unable to drop off diapers in person, alternative options are available. Groups interested in organizing their own diaper collections can arrange for pickup by contacting Sunrise Rotary club Secretary Suzie Ebenhack via email at [email protected]. Additionally, diapers can be donated online through Amazon at [link], while cash donations can be made via the fundraiser page on Facebook at [link].

Organizations interested in serving as additional drop-off locations are invited to reach out to Suzie Ebenhack for coordination.

All collected diapers will be distributed free of charge from the Emergency Clearinghouse located on PICCA’s campus, situated on East Ohio Street. This distribution center serves as a vital resource for families facing economic hardship, ensuring that they receive the support they need during challenging times.

The collaborative efforts of the Circleville Sunrise Rotary, local Kiwanis clubs, and Bottoms Up of Lancaster underscore the community’s compassion and commitment to assisting those most in need. Together, they strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Pickaway County families.
