CIRCLEVILLE, OHIO — Pickaway County Sunrise Rotary members welcomed author Kevin Driesbach as their guest speaker on December 3, where he shared insights from his recently published book, Pickaway Patriots. The book chronicles the lives of 153 men and women from Pickaway County who fought in or supported the Revolutionary War.
Driesbach described the years spent researching and writing the book as a deeply rewarding journey. “Uncovering the stories of these patriots and their ties to our community brought history to life in ways I could never have imagined,” he said.
Published by the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Library, Pickaway Patriots offers detailed accounts of Revolutionary War soldiers with connections to the county. Many of these individuals are interred in local cemeteries, making their stories an enduring part of the area’s heritage.
Copies of Pickaway Patriots are available at the Historical and Genealogical Library, providing residents an opportunity to explore the lives of the county’s Revolutionary War heroes and their contributions to the nation’s founding.
