PERRY -CODE Task Force detectives stopped 63yr old Michael W. Whitehouse on South Buckeye Street in Crooksville Friday evening. Canine ARGO alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in Whitehouse’s vehicle and upon searching the vehicle, detectives located over an ounce of methamphetamine inside. Whitehouse was arrested on second degree felony counts of Aggravated Trafficking and Aggravated Possession of Methamphetamine and incarcerated.

At the time of Friday’s stop, Whitehouse was out on bond after being indicted in the Perry County Common Pleas Court for Second Degree felony counts of Aggravated Trafficking and Aggravated Possession of Methamphetamine. Those charges stemmed from a June 27, 2019 traffic stop on State Route 345 in Saltillo in which Canine Argo alerted to the presence of illegal drug odors coming from Whitehouse’s vehicle. Two (2) ounces of methamphetamine were found in Whitehouse’s vehicle at that time that he was intending to deliver to a location outside of Somerset.

During the June 27th bust Whitehouse was arrested with Bryan “Squeak” Wolfe in a very similar delivery situation where Whitehouse was delivering two ounces of Methamphetamines to Wolfe. Both charges against Whitehouse are Felonies.
