CHILLICOTHE – One of Chillicothe’s most well known events The Feast of the Flowering Moon, that celebrates the Native American Culture is moving into Downtown Chillicothe as we speak
Governor Dewine in Febuary said that he would allow events like festivals to occur this year with guidance. Some groups have decided to forgo this years events due to short planning and Covid restrictions.
Feast of the Flowering moon canceled last year does the 2020 COVID pandemic.
The event occurs on the weekend of May 28-29th in Historic Downtown Chillicothe and is one of the first festivals in Ohio.
The festival will offer rides, games, and foods. Along with attractions including a princess contest, a cruise in, and a pie in the face contest.
According to a Facebook post on the festival’s website, “We are looking forward to holding the festival this year! Vendor applications are available through our website.
