CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Pickaway County officials have announced an immediate opening on the Pickaway County Park District Board of Commissioners following the resignation of a board member.
The upcoming judicial appointment will fill one of five seats on the board. Under Ohio Revised Code 1545.05, the authority to appoint park district commissioners rests with the county probate judge.
Board commissioners meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month to oversee operations, manage budgets, and work alongside park district staff to develop and improve outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Pickaway County.
Pickaway County Probate Judge Shelly R. Harsha and Park District Director Craig Sanders are inviting interested residents to apply for the position. Applicants must submit a letter of interest along with a current resume by September 11, 2026.
