CIRCLEVILLE – A live music event has been planned for local heart transplant recipient Mark Sandy.  Mark in the past 6 years has battled through a major heart attack, where he was placed on a life saving machine called at IVAD, suffered through and beat cancer, and now has a heart transplant.  Mark through his life battle has not let his diagnoses and disabilities slow him down.  Mark has used his time to create a foundation for kids called “The Party at the Y,” visited multiple schools to tell his story, spent time with other IVAD recipients and coached them through tough times.  Mark has used his tragedy into triumph, showing others that even in difficult times you can still enjoy life.

The event aimed at supporting Mark and his family of three (wife and son) is planned for November 2nd at 6 pm at the AMVETS located at 818 Tarlton Rd. in Circleville Ohio.  10 dollars gets you in the door for a spaghetti dinner with live music by Travis Brown the Drifters and dancing.  A huge amount of donations will be silent auctioned off during the benefit and a Pair of Ohio State vs Michigan Tickets will be raffled off, these tickets are premium tickets with specialty parking.
