CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Huey Magoo’s, a southern chain renowned as the “filet mignon of chicken,” has plans to a new location in Circleville and announced plans to launch 15 more eateries across Ohio. The fast-casual concept was founded in 2004 by Matt Armstrong and Thad Hudgens, two southern entrepreneurs with a passion for quality chicken and a commitment to exceptional service.

Recently, former executives from Wingstop, one of the fastest-growing franchise chains, have partnered with Huey Magoo’s founders. Together, they have refined their focus on delivering the perfect chicken tender, shaping it into the core of what Huey Magoo’s offers today.

The leadership team at Huey Magoo’s includes President and CEO Andy Howard, Chairman of the Board Wes Jablonski, COO Mike Sutter, VP of Operations Matt Poleos, and Board of Directors Member Bill Knight.

Huey Magoo’s prides itself on being the country’s premiere chicken tender concept, using only the best 3% of chicken, which is the tenderloin, and branding it as The Filet Mignon of Chicken®. This philosophy extends to all aspects of the brand, from ambiance and food quality to high-level service, elevating the fast-casual dining experience for every guest.

The Circleville location, situated at 23601 US 23, is currently undergoing a $300,000 renovation to transform the former Del Taco site into Huey Magoo’s fifth Ohio restaurant. The remodel includes significant changes to both the interior and exterior of the building.

While the exact opening date for the Circleville location remains unknown, updates will be provided as the project progresses.

Huey Magoo’s continues to expand its footprint, bringing its premium chicken tenders and elevated dining experience to more communities across the state.
