October 6, 2020
Deputies responded to a breaking and entering complaint at Chieftain Dr. business. The complainant told deputies that someone had entered a building and removed several items. The case remains under investigation.

October 7, 2020
Deputies responded to a Hansel Ave. residence where they were told a female was breaking windows to a residence being renovated. Deputies were not able to locate the female, however, a short time later, Logan Police located and arrested a female matching the description, at Walmart. The case remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to a Laurel Run Rd. residence for a theft complaint. The complainant told deputies that a power washer and post-hole digger were stolen from a side yard.

Deputies received a complaint of domestic violence from a Pickaway County Deputy Sheriff School Resource Officer at Logan Elm. The alleged domestic violence occurred on October 8th and after investigation, deputies arrested David Azbell, 38, Rockbridge and charged him with Domestic Violence and Assault. Azbell was transported to the SEORJ.

Deputies investigated a crash on SR 664S when a deer ran in front of vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Deputies responded to a Haydenville Rd. residence for a criminal damaging complaint. The complainant told deputies that overnight, someone smashed their windshield on their vehicle.

Deputies responded to a Chieftain Dr. business for a breaking and entering complaint. The complainant told deputies that the building, which had been broken into earlier this week and the building was forcibly entered again. The case remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to a Jack Run Rd. residence for a criminal trespass complaint. The compliant told deputies that they told the person to leave and was not allowed on the property and they left. Deputies told the complainant if they returned to call again.

Deputies responded to a SR 56 residence for a breaking and entering. The complainant told deputies that someone had entered a barn and removed a toolbox full of tools. The complainant provided deputies with an inventory of the stolen tools. The case remains under investigation.

Deputies and detectives responded to the U.S. 33 roadside rest Rockbridge for an alleged felonious assault complaint. The victim told deputies and troopers that they had been attacked by a male suspect in their vehicle. The case is being handled by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Deputies responded to a verbal domestic argument at a SR 664 residence. No violence occurred and no charges were filed.

Deputies responded to a Creamery Hill Rd. residence for an unruly juvenile complaint. The parents told deputies that a child had left and refused to come home. The juvenile came home a short time later. The parents were told how to file unruly charges in the future if the situation continued and was warranted.

October 12, 2020
Deputies responded to a Purdum Rd. residence for a medical emergency. The residents had found a person on their property suffering from a mental health crisis. HCEMS was summoned and transported to HVCH.

Deputies responded to a verbal domestic argument at a Purdum Rd. residence. No violence occurred and no charges were filed.
