November 4, 2020
Deputies responded to Murray City for a theft offense after the village administer found that after a resident’s water had been disconnected for non-payment, the water meter was found to have used water over the last month. The case remains under investigation.

November 9, 2020
Deputies responded to a Carbon Hill-Buchtel Rd. residence for a criminal mischief complaint. The complainant told deputies that their vehicle had been egged for the second time in a week.

November 10, 2020
Deputies responded to an Old McArthur Rd. residence for a criminal damaging complaint. The complainant told deputies that their tires had been cut. The complainant identified a suspect and the case remains under investigation.

November 11, 2020
Deputies responded to a Murray City residence for a neighbor dispute. The complainant told deputies that they were confronted by a neighbor over a previous incident in which the complainant had contacted the Sheriff’s Office for a dog at large complaint. The report was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

November 12, 2020
Deputies responded to a Zwickle Rd. residence for a burglary and violation of a protection order complaint. The complainant told deputies that the suspect kicked the door to the residence in and demanded property and then left, but returned a short time later, entered the property and demanded additional property. The complainant is a protected party on a protection order. A request for a warrant was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Deputies investigated a vehicle/deer crash on U.S. 33 near SR 664.

Deputies responded to a Sutton Rd. residence for a 911 call in which the caller told dispatchers that they were being held, locked in a bedroom. After deputies arrived they found that an argument between a parent and child had occurred, but no violence or threats. The parties were both warned for disorderly conduct.

November 14, 2020
Deputies responded to a Parkway Dr. residence for a disturbance. After arriving deputies found that an argument had occurred over suspected drug use. No violence or threats occurred. Deputies did collect two items of suspected paraphernalia.

Deputies responded to a Laurelville business for an argument and theft complaint. After deputies arrived they learned that an argument occurred over medication that had been taken by another from a vehicle, but returned.

Deputies responded to Charles St. for an abandoned pink bicycle. Deputies took the bicycle.

November 15, 2020
Deputies responded to the flea market in Rockbridge for an assault complaint. The complainant told deputies that they and another vendor argued over a sign placement and the victim alleged that they were shoved. The suspect denied shoving the complainant, but told deputies that they put their finger in their face after being called a profane name. No charges were filed.

November 16, 2020
Deputies investigated a deer/vehicle crash on U.S. 33 near SR 664. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. No injuries were reported.
