Hocking County OH- According to the Hocking County Health Department, there has been an increase in Covid-19 related deaths. The department goes on to say that the additional 9 related deaths did not occur in a single day instead it has happened over the last few weeks.
“Numbers for Tuesday, December 8th
We have unfortunately seen 9 more deaths related to Covid. We do not post the deaths until the death certificates are final. That is why the increase today. The deaths did not all occur yesterday, they occurred over the last couple of weeks.

The Hocking County Health Department also sent out a post on social media earlier today describing the symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.
“Most common Covid signs/symptoms we are hearing from positive patients in Hocking County –
Headache, body aches, chills, cough, stuffed up nose and loss of taste and smell.
Please do not go by lack of fever! We are seeing fever in less than 40% of the cases.
If you have any of these symptoms, DO NOT go to work, DO NOT go around family and friends.
Call your doctor and get tested for Covid.
