Grove City – Get your chicken now as the Stringtown Road location will close soon for a remodel

Chic-Fil-A will close on August 4th, 2023, as it works to complete plans for a new 600-square-foot addition to its drive-thru configuration.

Update – Chic-Fil-A has updated to say that they will now close on August 10th

The new addition will be around a 500,000 dollar reinvestment to the current location at 1696 Stringtown road. This improvement is designed to help ease drive-thru times, and protect employees.

“Chick-fil-A has employees that take orders while standing out in the weather, and this is one of the ways they have provided protection to those individuals,” she said. “One (canopy) would be along the drive-thru, along the south side of the building where employees stand outside and take orders. The other canopy is along the pick-up side of the building. Underneath the canopies, there are some recessed lights. There are also heaters and fans that would protrude. However, those will be powder-coated or ordered in a color that matches the canopy, so you won’t have a silver fan underneath. It will be dark bronze or black.”

The canopy will have more lighting also that will help with safety along with offer heat in the winter and sun shade in the summer for their employees who help move along the experience through the drive-thru.

The restaurant says it plans to reopen in Mid-November
