CIRCLEVILLE – Yesterday December 9th, 2018 three agencies teamed up at Circleville Was-mart for Shop with a Cop Circleville fire, Job and Family Services, and Circleville Police Department. Year after year Circleville Walmart has opened its doors for this event.
Shop with a Cop is a assistance program mostly aimed at foster kiddos to supply them with gifts to give to their parents and siblings. The ten kids selected this year received 100 dollar gift card and were able to shop with a officer or fire fighter to help find appropriate gifts for family members.
“Two of our foster kiddos are going home this week, so this will be really nice for the family just before the holiday to bond,” said one of the foster parents.
