In a gesture of community support, Fluor-BWXT (FBP) has granted over $20,000 to the Pike County Sheriff’s Department to aid in the acquisition of new equipment. Greg Wilkett, a representative of FBP, highlighted the decision to provide assistance after learning of the Pike County Sheriff’s Department’s need for updated equipment during a County Commissioner’s meeting. “We thought this would be a good opportunity for us to support this valuable program,” Wilkett remarked.
The allocated funds will contribute towards the procurement of modern polygraph equipment and a sealing machine designed to securely store the personal belongings of incarcerated individuals. Additionally, training for personnel utilizing this equipment will be covered by the donation.
