NEW BOSTON, OH – A bizarre crash in a village park ended with significant property damage and a felony drug arrest, according to the New Boston Police Department.

“Folks, if you’ve got 40 grams of meth riding shotgun with you… maybe don’t try to turn a gazebo into a drive-thru. ,” said the police department
Officers say a man drove his vehicle into a public gazebo, heavily damaging the structure and his own car. During the investigation, police discovered roughly 40 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

The driver was taken into custody and now faces multiple charges, including drug possession. No serious injuries were reported in the crash, but the gazebo was destroyed.
Police used the incident to remind residents about the dangers of impaired or reckless driving, saying it was another example of how drug abuse often leads to destructive choices.
