Downtown Columbus Will Have New Shutdowns Starting Tonight

COLUMBUS – For those who travel to the Capital city, new detours and shutdowns will start occurring overnight on Friday.

  • The I-71 northbound ramp to I-670 will close nightly (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Friday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 24.
    • Detour: I-71 northbound to SR 315 to I-670. 
  • The Cleveland Ave. ramp to I-71 southbound will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, November 23.
    • Detour: Cleveland Ave. to I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to I-71 southbound. 
  • The I-670 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close overnight (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, November 23.
    • Detour: I-670 eastbound to I-71 northbound to 11th Ave. to I-71 southbound.
  • The I-670 westbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, November 23.
    • Detour: I-670 westbound to SR 315 southbound to I-71 southbound.
  • I-71 southbound between I-670 and Main St. will have overnight lane restrictions (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, November 23.
