Chillicothe police officers responded to a disturbance at Expressway Drive-Thru located at 1132 E Main St after employees flagged them down, initiating an ongoing investigation.

According to the supplemental narrative provided by Officer Blair Strange on March 28, 2024, at 8:14 PM, officers observed an employee directing their attention towards Kaleb Campbell, who was reportedly urinating on the icebox in front of the establishment.

Campbell, allegedly inebriated, proceeded to walk away from the scene while still urinating. Upon their arrival, officers detained Campbell and placed him in the rear of a patrol vehicle. Campbell purportedly admitted to the act, citing an urgent need to relieve himself.

An employee at Expressway Drive-Thru, informed officers that she was alerted by a customer about a male exhibiting unusual behavior outside. Upon investigating, Damron claimed to have witnessed Campbell urinating on the icebox, exposing himself in the process. Damron expressed her intent to press charges and provided a written statement detailing the incident. Additionally, she requested that Campbell be barred from the premises, which officers promptly enforced, warning Campbell of potential charges for criminal trespass should he return.

Subsequently, Campbell was transported to the Ross County Jail where he was held pending bond for charges of Disorderly Conduct Intoxication (M4-Priors) and Public Indecency. His court appearance is scheduled for March 29, 2024, at 9:00 AM.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
