Deer Causes Motorcycle Crash, Two Rushed to Hosptial

PICkAWAY – An Accident occurred today August 5,2018 on 56 Eastbound just past 159 in Leistville area.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol the driver of the motorcycle avoided collision of a deer who jumped out of a corn field in front of them.  On the back of the 2002 VT1000 Honda was the passenger a 13 year old girl.  They both were thrown from the bike during the lay down and sustained injuries.  Both the driver and the passenger were transported with non-life threatening injuries to Berger hospital by Pickaway Township ambulance.  No update has been given to their condition at this time.

  1. I say again that you need to include the names of those involved in traffic crashes. The names, including juveniles, are public record. Let’s get with it!
