DARBYVILLE, Ohio — A Pickaway County youngster is heading to the national stage after earning a top honor at a regional pageant.
Marleigh Eitel, the 5-year-old daughter of Brian and Jessica Eitel of Darbyville, was recently crowned queen at America’s Best Pageant, receiving the title “Little Miss Pickaway County.” With the win, Marleigh will advance to the America’s Best National Pageant, scheduled for September 11–13, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee, where she will represent Pickaway County.
America’s Best Pageant emphasizes community involvement, confidence, and good citizenship, encouraging participants to serve as positive role models in their hometowns. Marleigh’s goal, according to her family, is to proudly represent her community and bring home a national title for Pickaway County.
As she prepares for the national competition, Marleigh will continue promoting the values of community pride and service that the pageant organization champions.
