Circleville – In August, the new safety Director Rob Ware, and Circleville Mayor Blanton approached the council on a, “40,000-foot view,” of the police department by hiring a police consultant to dig into the department and give a full detailed report on his findings.
The consultant that was hired was Paul Pride who retired in 2019 as Superintendent of the Ohio State Highway Patrol where worked between 1989 and 2019 in various leadership roles. The department paid Pride to look at the local police department help find issues, and develop strategies to help the police department rebuild. The following is the report Pride gave to the City Council.
