The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is cracking open some springtime fun with the return of their popular Eggs, Paws and Claws event, presented by Kroger. This two-day celebration will take place on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering egg-citing activities for the whole family.
Egg-Splore-N-Find Adventure
Guests can join a unique twist on a traditional Seek-n-Find activity. The Zoo’s beloved Character Ambassadors, including Sydnee Koala, Patriot Eagle, and Cali Sea Lion, have hidden decorated eggs throughout the Zoo. By grabbing an activity map and following the clues, visitors can hunt for these special eggs and redeem a prize at the end (while supplies last).
Meet and Greet the Stars
No Eggs, Paws and Claws event is complete without meeting the sunny-side up hosts! Eggbert, Shelley, Yolko, and Oh-No will be greeting guests at the Lakeside Pavilion, ready for photos and smiles. Additionally, the Zoo’s regular Character Ambassadors will be roaming the grounds for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.
Eggbert & Shelley’s Rolling Shell-ebration (weather permitting)
Join Eggbert, Shelley, and their friends for a musical adventure aboard the Character Express train! This fun-filled parade will roll through the Zoo at various times throughout the day.
Photos with the Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny himself will be hopping into the Character Cottage for a special photo experience! While advanced reservations are recommended, guests can also join a standby line.
