ATLANTA — As the United States prepares to blow out 250 candles on its birthday cake, one of its most iconic brands is leading the party. The Coca-Cola Company has officially unveiled a year-long, nationwide campaign to celebrate the U.S. Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) through a mix of high-end collectibles and boots-on-the-ground community service.

As a signature partner of America250, Coca-Cola is rolling out an ambitious 2026 roadmap that blends nostalgia with a heavy focus on local community impact.

A Can for Every State

The centerpiece for collectors is the debut of the America250 mini-can collection. In a first for the company, Coca-Cola has designed unique cans for all 50 states, plus Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. Each can features local iconography—ranging from Georgia’s famous peaches to California’s surf culture—encouraging fans to “collect the country.”

The “Drink in America” campaign also leans into the digital age; consumers can scan their cans to unlock prizes, including a new Jeep and various travel experiences designed to encourage domestic exploration.

“Paint the Nation” and Volunteerism

Coca-Cola is aiming for more than just shelf space; they are aiming for a legacy of service. The company has set a massive goal of generating 250,000 volunteer hours in 2026. Working with local bottling partners, the initiative will focus on:

  • Food Insecurity & Disaster Relief
  • Youth Empowerment & Sustainability
  • Veteran and Military Support

To leave a visual mark on the country, the company is launching “Paint the Nation.” This public art project will commission local artists to create dozens of murals across the U.S. that reflect regional pride and culture. Development for these murals begins this month and will continue through the end of the year.

A Century of History

This isn’t Coke’s first historic rodeo. The company famously supported troops during World War II and released a highly sought-after collectible bottle series for the 1976 Bicentennial.

“For nearly 140 years, Coca-Cola has been part of the American experience,” said Stacy Jackson, Vice President of Coca-Cola Trademark, North America. “This milestone is an opportunity to celebrate where we’ve been—and where we’re going.”

Where to Find the Celebration

Expect to see the America250 branding everywhere in 2026. The celebration will have a major presence at:

  • The NASCAR Coca-Cola 600
  • The PGA Tour Championship
  • Major summer music festivals

Other brands under the Coca-Cola umbrella, including BODYARMOR, Gold Peak, and vitaminwater, will also join the fray with their own commemorative packaging, ensuring the 250th anniversary is felt in every aisle of the grocery store.
