
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – May 6, 2025 — Circleville Police were kept busy throughout the day on Monday, May 5, responding to a wide range of calls that included traffic stops, structure fires, warrant arrests, juvenile complaints, and injury accidents. In total, 34 incidents were logged in the department’s media report for the 24-hour period.
The day began just after midnight with a traffic stop on South Court Street that ended in a warning. Throughout the early morning hours, officers attempted to serve multiple warrants, but several subjects were gone on arrival or unable to be located, including on Logan Street, Mace Drive, and Walnut Creek Pike. However, a successful warrant arrest was made later in the morning, again on Logan Street.
A structure fire on East Mound Street was reported around 3 a.m., but was quickly contained. Later in the day, another fire-related call resulted in a resident being transported to the hospital from Evergreen Avenue.

Officers also responded to two injury accidents, including one on Northridge Road at 11:13 a.m. and another on Logan Street shortly before 4 p.m. Other major calls included a burglary report on Watt Street, a reported assault on Fairview Boulevard, a dog bite on North Pickaway Street, and multiple reports of threats or harassment, including incidents on Half Avenue and Nicholas Court.
Juvenile-related complaints surfaced repeatedly throughout the afternoon and evening, with incidents on South Court Street, North Court Street, West Main Street, and Waterside Drive. In many of those cases, the individuals involved were no longer present by the time officers arrived.
The fire department was also called for mutual aid twice to Owens Road, and additional fire reports were logged on Stella Avenue and East High Street later in the evening.
Circleville officers continue to respond to a wide variety of public safety concerns on a daily basis, ranging from routine traffic violations to more serious criminal and emergency matters.
