CARROLL, OH — The Circleville Tigers capped off a historic regular season Friday night, defeating the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs 26–7 at Carl Fell Stadium to secure their first-ever home playoff game.
Heading into the matchup, Bloom-Carroll was hoping to lock down the Mid-State League Buckeye Division title outright, while Circleville aimed to close the season with a statement win — and they did just that.
With the victory, Circleville finishes the regular season at 7–3, marking the program’s first winning record since 2015. The win also forces Bloom-Carroll to share the MSL-Buckeye championship with Hamilton Township.
The Tigers’ strong performance on both sides of the ball sealed the game early, controlling the pace and keeping the Bulldogs’ offense in check.
Circleville will now host Duncan Falls next week in the first round of the playoffs, entering as the seventh seed in its region — a milestone moment for the program and its fans.
