CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A local man received the surprise of a lifetime Friday afternoon when Texas Roadhouse representatives handed him the keys to a brand-new $65,000 truck right here in Chillicothe.
The surprise presentation took place around 3:00 p.m. at the local restaurant, where the unsuspecting winner was officially awarded the grand prize of the nationwide Texas Roadhouse “Rib Fest Dodge Ram” sweepstakes.
The month-long national giveaway, which ran from June 24 through July 28, invited eligible U.S. residents aged 18 and older to enter for a chance to win the centerpiece vehicle. The grand prize winner was chosen through a random electronic drawing conducted near the end of July.
The prize—a 2026 Ram 1500 America250 Special Edition Big Horn edition—boasts an estimated retail value of $65,000.
Restaurant staff and patrons gathered to celebrate as the keys to the special-edition truck were officially turned over, capping off the national summer sweepstakes with a local victory.
