Highlights from the report include:
- Stolen Vehicle Reported: Around 2:30 a.m., a report of a possibly stolen vehicle came from the Yoctangee Parkway and Kopp Street area. The case remains under investigation.
- Bicyclist Struck by Car: At 6:49 a.m., officers responded to Western Avenue and Woodbridge Avenue after a vehicle struck a man on a bicycle. No details were released about the severity of the victim’s injuries.
- Arrests on Warrants: Officers responded to two separate calls related to outstanding warrants—one at the Ross County Jail just after 7 a.m., and another at Cooks Hill Road with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office at 10:06 p.m.
- Disorderly Conduct and Assault Calls: Multiple calls for disorderly conduct were logged, including reports at Sherman Park, Terrace Lane, and Allen Avenue. Police also responded to a criminal trespass and assault incident at 304 Lincoln Park around 4:48 p.m.
- Unruly Juvenile and Missing Person: A report of an unruly juvenile came from Ewing Street just before noon, and a missing juvenile was reported at 385 E. 4th Street around 8:19 p.m.
- Hit-and-Run and Traffic Incidents: A hit-skip crash occurred on West 2nd Street at 2:07 p.m., and an unrelated traffic accident led to a citation being issued on Plum Street at 5:48 p.m.
- Theft and Property Damage: Officers investigated a theft complaint on North Brownell Street at 5:59 p.m., resulting in an arrest on an unrelated active warrant. A separate criminal mischief incident involving property damage was reported on Clay Street at 7:49 p.m.
- Child Endangerment: At 10:39 p.m., officers responded to East Water Street for a report of child endangerment, including a failure to provide care, which remains under investigation.
- Mental Health Concern: Police were dispatched to 61 N. Bridge Street shortly after 10 p.m. for a call involving a man with an altered mental status.
