Chillicothe Police Respond to Thefts, Crashes, and Drug-Related Calls on September 2

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (Sept. 3, 2025) – The Chillicothe Police Department logged 21 incidents on Tuesday, September 2, ranging from thefts and traffic violations to drug activity and disorderly conduct.

The day began at 7:23 a.m. with a call to Stone Trace Drive for a neighbor dispute, classified as disorderly conduct. Around 9:15 a.m., officers investigated a crash on East Main Street, followed by another accident report on South Paint Street just before 10 a.m.

Several theft reports were filed throughout the day:

  • Columbus Street (10:15 a.m.) – theft under investigation.
  • East Second Street (10:34 a.m.) – theft from a motor vehicle.
  • Law Enforcement Complex (10:41 a.m.) – larceny complaint under review.
  • River Trace Lane (12:58 p.m.) – shoplifting.
  • West Second Street (2:28 p.m.) – theft reported by a resident.
  • Caroline Drive (3:16 p.m.) and North Paint Street (8:07 p.m.) – thefts under investigation.

A trespassing complaint was reported at 761 East Main Street at 1:31 p.m.

At 1:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to West Fifth Street on a call classified as “non-criminal” after a possible death was reported.

Later in the afternoon, officers responded to Industrial Drive for disorderly conduct at the Pickaway-Ross Adult Education Center, and to North Bridge Street for an accident at Certified Oil.

Traffic enforcement included a stop on East Main Street near North Watt Street at 3:40 p.m. when a driver passed a stopped school bus unloading children.

At 4:50 p.m., officers were called to McDonald’s on North Bridge Street for a report of a man under the influence of drugs inside the restaurant. He was issued a summons and released to family.

Another incident on North Bridge Street at 5:15 p.m. involved a crash where a passenger, identified as Michael Tisdale, fled from officers after being found with active warrants. He was later taken into custody.

The evening included two incidents on East Fourth Street: a juvenile complaint at 6:40 p.m. and a possible overdose at 8 p.m.. In the overdose case, the patient refused hospital transport.

The day closed with another theft complaint on North Paint Street at 8:07 p.m.

In total, officers handled 21 calls for service, with multiple investigations still pending.
