
Chillicothe police handled a steady stream of incidents on Thursday, December 11, 2025, ranging from vandalism complaints to theft investigations and disorderly conduct calls, according to the department’s daily media report.
Officers made one warrant arrest early in the day before responding to multiple reports of criminal mischief throughout the city.
The first vandalism call was reported just after 6 a.m. on East Water Street, where officers were dispatched regarding property damage. A second similar complaint was logged around 8:08 a.m. in the 100 block of Mill Street. Both cases remain under investigation.
Around 9:10 a.m., police opened a theft-without-consent case after receiving a complaint. That investigation is also ongoing.
Later that morning, at 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the entrance of Yoctangee Park at Water and Paint Streets for another criminal mischief report.
Shortly after noon, officers were dispatched to East Main Street for an accident report.
At 1:20 p.m., police investigated another theft on River Trace Lane. A crash at Yoctangee Parkway and Chestnut Street was reported around 3:22 p.m.
Officers were again called to East Water Street at 4:02 p.m., this time to 198 E. Water St., for a report of vandalism to a vehicle.
During the evening hours, police responded to several additional disturbances. At 7:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to Schreiner Avenue for a dispute labeled as a non-criminal incident. Minutes later, at 7:17 p.m., a telecommunications harassment complaint was reported at Worthington Manor.
At 7:26 p.m., officers responded to a vandalism complaint on East 7th Street involving disorderly conduct.
The final call of the day came at 10:44 p.m., when police were dispatched to Laurel Street regarding an assault. That case remains under investigation.
In total, Chillicothe police recorded 13 incidents for the day.
