Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents Sunday

CHILLICOTHE — Chillicothe police responded to several incidents across the city on Sunday, Feb. 1, ranging from vandalism and traffic crashes to disorderly conduct and an arrest on an outstanding warrant, according to the department’s daily media report.

Officers were first dispatched at 6:13 a.m. to the 80 block of Rogers Parkway following a report of vandalism. The incident was classified as criminal mischief, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Later in the morning, police responded to a traffic crash involving a failure to control at 8:59 a.m. A separate non-injury crash was reported at approximately 11:45 a.m. near 960 N. Bridge St., at Charleys Steakery. That incident involved a failure to yield and driving onto a roadway. Officers took a crash report, and the investigation is continuing.

At 1:43 p.m., officers responded to the Law Enforcement Complex regarding a telecommunications harassment complaint. Details of the complaint were not immediately released.

Police were then dispatched at 2:29 p.m. to a residence in the 300 block of Clay Street for a reported criminal trespass. According to the report, a man identified as Kaleb Campbell was allegedly refusing to leave the property. The case remains under investigation.

Later in the afternoon, at 5:21 p.m., officers responded to a reported fight in the area of 71 N. Sugar St. The incident was classified as disorderly conduct involving fighting or threatening behavior. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

The final reported incident occurred at 6:27 p.m. on Southern Avenue, where officers were dispatched to check on a woman who appeared to be unconscious. During the response, police made an arrest related to an outstanding warrant. No further details were released.
