Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on October 25

CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a series of calls throughout Saturday, October 25, 2025, including a missing persons report involving two juveniles, a rape investigation, and several traffic and disorderly conduct complaints, according to the department’s daily media report.

Officers were first dispatched just after midnight to 289 E. Main Street for a disorderly conduct incident. A few hours later, at 2:25 a.m., police responded to 209 Scioto Avenue after two juveniles were reported missing. The investigation into their whereabouts is ongoing.

At 10:18 a.m., officers were called to Western Avenue for a traffic crash involving a driver failing to yield while making a left turn. No injuries were reported.

Later in the morning, officers were sent to 85 River Trace Lane for a report of an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance. That case remains under investigation.

Police also responded to a threats complaint at 107 Whaley Place around 4:42 p.m., which was classified as a menacing incident.

A routine patrol stop on North Bridge Street at 5:37 p.m. led to a citation after an officer discovered the driver of a silver Kia, identified as Stanley Mitchell, was operating with expired registration and a suspended license. The vehicle was released to a valid driver.

One of the most serious incidents of the day was reported at 577 E. Fourth Street around 5:52 p.m., where officers were dispatched for a rape complaint involving a victim with a mental or physical disability. That case remains under active investigation.

In other reports, police recovered an abandoned electric bike valued at several hundred dollars near E. Main and Rose Streets and secured it for safekeeping. Officers also responded to a theft complaint at The Coffee Hub, located at 150 W. Main Street, later that evening.

The day concluded with officers investigating a traffic crash at S. Bridge Street at 10:17 p.m. involving a failure to obey traffic control devices.

The Chillicothe Police Department reported a total of 13 incidents on October 25. Several cases remain under investigation.
