Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on March 6

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – Chillicothe police officers responded to numerous calls for service on March 6, 2025, including traffic stops, warrant arrests, disorderly conduct cases, and theft reports, according to the department’s daily media report.

Among the incidents:

  • Warrant Arrests: Officers made multiple arrests throughout the day for outstanding warrants, including incidents at Sherman Park, North Paint Street, River Trace Lane (Walmart), and East Main Street. In one case at Walmart, a suspect with three active warrants for failing to appear on criminal trespassing charges was taken into custody.
  • Disorderly Conduct: Officers were dispatched to several locations for disorderly conduct, including incidents at Clay Street, Church Street, East Second Street, and North Rose Street. These incidents often involved domestic disputes or fights.
  • Traffic Stops: Multiple drivers were stopped for traffic violations, including speeding on Yoctangee Parkway and East Main Street. Officers also conducted stops related to license suspensions and vehicle registration issues.
  • Theft Reports: Officers responded to theft incidents at Walmart, Menards, and a bike theft on West 7th Street. Investigations are ongoing.
  • Criminal Trespassing: A suspect was removed from Price Family Eye Center on West Main Street after entering without an appointment. Police warned the individual not to return.
  • Aggravated Menacing: Officers were called to McKeller Street for a reported threat involving a firearm. The investigation continues.
  • Domestic Disputes: Multiple calls involved domestic-related incidents, including one on Columbia Avenue.
