
CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a variety of incidents on Sunday, October 26, 2025, responding to 15 calls for service ranging from disorderly conduct and thefts to a reported burglary and vehicle fire.
According to the department’s daily media log, officers were first dispatched around 1:24 a.m. to 849 E. 4th Street for a disorderly conduct complaint involving obstructing official business. The incident remains under investigation.
Shortly after, at 1:54 a.m., officers responded to a hit-skip crash on Church Street, followed by the arrest of a suspect on an active warrant at 2:36 a.m. after coordination with the Commercial Point Police Department.
Later in the morning, police investigated a domestic dispute on Stanley Street and a vehicle fire at Edgewood Court; both cases remain under investigation.
At 10:03 a.m., officers were dispatched to McArthur Gardens on Columbus Street for a burglary complaint, and minutes later, to Taylor’s Stag Bar on East Main Street for a theft report. Additional theft was reported later in the day at the CVS on South Paint Street.

Other incidents throughout the day included:
- Disorderly conduct/domestic dispute on Vine Street
- Unruly juvenile on West 7th Street
- Mental health hold and disorderly conduct on Ewing Street
- Telecommunications harassment on East 4th Street (report taken)
- Found bicycle on North Bridge Street, logged as non-criminal
- Traffic offense on North Bridge Street involving an invalid plate and suspended license
- Welfare check on East 2nd Street
No major injuries were reported in any of the incidents. Several cases remain under active investigation.
