
CHILLICOTHE — Officers with the Chillicothe Police Department responded to a dozen incidents on Feb. 17, including a theft report, a motor vehicle crash and multiple disorderly conduct complaints, according to the department’s daily media report.
The day began with a warrant arrest, though additional details were not immediately released.
Around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of North Paint and Arch streets, where a vehicle was towed after being found disabled with two flat tires.
At 11 a.m., police were dispatched to Fairway Avenue for a neighbor dispute that resulted in a disorderly conduct investigation, which remains ongoing.
Just before noon, officers were called to 66 North Sugar St. regarding extended parking and furniture left on a sidewalk. The matter is being investigated as a non-criminal complaint.
Police also handled two juvenile-related incidents. At approximately 12:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Complex on North Paint Street for an unruly child complaint. Later, at 2:21 p.m., officers responded to 389 E. Fifth St. in reference to a trespass involving an unruly juvenile. Both investigations are pending.
Earlier in the afternoon, authorities began investigating an ICAC referral received on North Paint Street. No additional information was released.
At 2:16 p.m., officers were called to the 1000 block of Columbus Street for a criminal trespass complaint involving a man reportedly refusing to leave the area.
Police responded to a traffic crash at North Bridge Street and Seney Road at 3:48 p.m. The incident involved a driver cited for driving under suspension and failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. The crash remains under investigation.
In the evening hours, officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Hickory and Burbridge streets, near Poland Park, for a reported theft. That investigation is ongoing.
Shortly before 9 p.m., police responded to 600 Arch St. for a domestic dispute classified as disorderly conduct. A report was taken and no further action was noted.
Later, at 9:14 p.m., officers were called to Planet Fitness, 1080 North Bridge St., in reference to a trespass complaint. That investigation also remains active.
