
CHILLICOTHE — Chillicothe Police responded to a series of routine calls, traffic offenses, warrants, and disorderly conduct complaints throughout the day on Wednesday, December 10, according to the department’s daily media report.
12:43 a.m. — Traffic Violation
An officer conducted a traffic stop at North Bridge Street and Second Street after a driver failed to stop at a red light. A citation was issued.
7:30 a.m. — Criminal Trespass, N. Bridge Street
Police responded to a trespassing complaint. The investigation remains ongoing.
9:41 a.m. — Disorderly Conduct, Columbus Street
Officers were dispatched to Columbus Street on a reported trespass complaint. That investigation is also ongoing.
11:30 a.m. — Traffic Signal Violation
A traffic control signal offense was reported. The incident was cleared as Code 2.
12:04 p.m. — Disorderly Conduct, Park Street
Police were called to 142 Park Street for a disorderly conduct complaint. Officers continue to investigate.
12:12 p.m. — Vehicle Towed, Old Eastern Avenue
A vehicle was removed after accumulating two 48-hour violations. Officers reported multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the registered owner before towing.
12:44 p.m. — Warrant & Theft Complaint
Officers handled a theft report and picked up an individual with an outstanding warrant.
2:22 p.m. — Warrant Pickup, Pickaway County Jail
Officers traveled to Pickaway County Jail to pick up Chadwick Coil, who had two active warrants through Chillicothe Municipal Court (TRD2500334, TRD2406667). Coil was transported to the Ross County Jail without incident and served with his warrant copies.
2:56 p.m. — Accident Report, North Paint Street
An accident report was taken on North Paint Street. No injuries were reported.
3:03 p.m. — Disorderly Complaint, Consumer Center Drive
Police responded to Homeland Credit Union’s Consumer Center for a disorderly individual. The case remains under investigation.
4:03 p.m. — Accident, East Water Street
Officers were dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle crash at 67 E. Water Street.
5:37 p.m. — Failure to Control, East Main Street
A crash involving failure to control and weaving was documented. A full crash report was completed.
6:32–6:40 p.m. — Warrant Service, North Paint Street
Officers served a warrant at 28 N. Paint Street.
