The cases ranged from drug overdoses and traffic violations to thefts and juvenile complaints, with several investigations ongoing.
The day began with a dispatch at 4:32 a.m. to Speedway on E. Main St. for an overdose involving disorderly conduct and drug use, with the investigation continuing. Non-criminal parking issues were reported at 8:43 a.m. and 9:35 a.m. on Church St. Theft complaints surfaced at 8:40 a.m. behind the Law Enforcement Complex on S. Walnut St., 11:29 a.m. at 228 N. Bridge St., 11:59 a.m. at Walmart on River Trace Ln., and 8:02 p.m. at 312 Cherry St. (Walmart), all under investigation.

Disorderly conduct calls came at 9:43 a.m. at City Park on Enderlin Cir. and 9:58 a.m. at Family Dollar on N. Bridge St., with probes ongoing. A traffic stop at 10:09 a.m. near Chestnut and Church St. resulted in charges for failing to file registration, lacking a motorcycle endorsement, and 12-point violations. A red-light violation at 3:50 p.m. on N. Bridge St. led to a citation for Gail Dresbach, who struck Kenneth Woods’ vehicle, with a court date set for June 30.
Criminal trespass cases were reported at 1:40 p.m. on Cheyenne Dr. and 7:35 p.m. at Metropolitan Housing Authority on W. 7th St., both under investigation. Public indecency at 1:47 p.m. on Gilmore St. and unruly child complaints at 6:05 p.m. on W. 2nd St. and 6:27 p.m. on E. 7th St. are also being probed. Traffic stops for driving under OVI suspension at 6:56 p.m. on E. Main St. and warrant arrests at 5:03 p.m. (1999 Honda Accord), 9:00 p.m. on W. Water St., and 11:53 p.m. on Cherry St. were noted.
