PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — Law enforcement is actively searching for a suspect following a shooting incident that occurred around 12:00 p.m. Thursday in Central Pickaway County.
Witnesses reported that 10 to 12 gunshots were fired in the area of Zig Zag Drive, prompting a large police response. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a blue Altima vehicle, and a grey Kia Optima with plastic covering one window. Authorities are currently working to determine if additional individuals may have been involved.
Emergency medical crews were staged nearby as a precaution, although no injuries have been confirmed at this time.
Residents in the area are urged to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement continues to canvass the area and review surveillance footage to identify and locate the individual or individuals responsible.
