Pickaway County – A serious occurred in Pickaway County around 4:50 pm
According to reports, a single-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Yellowbud and 104 right on the county line. Early reports say that the driver who had a loss of control left the roadway hit an embankment left the ground and then rolled over coming to a stop in an adjacent farm field on its side. The driver and the passenger were trapped inside.
When Williamsport Fire arrived on the scene they called for Med flight, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department called for the closest tow truck to help stabilize the vehicle for the rescue operation. Scioto Valley Towing was quick to the scene. Shortly afterwards the two people were extricated to the scene and transported to nearby hospitals with injuries.
Medflight was canceled at the scene due to the injuries being less significant that earlier suspected.
