Pickaway – A Serious crash occurred at the intersection of 18520 Florence chapel pike around 10 pm a single-vehicle crash with two people ejected and one person inside the vehicle
According to the Pickaway County sheriff’s office, the vehicle a 2021 Subaru Forester went off the roadway when it failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. The car went right off a driveway and into a fence, it then sideswiped a tree and through another fence then hit another car that was parked. At that time the driver of the vehicle Joseph Maynard 61 who was not wearing his seatbelt was ejected.
Maynard who was the only occupant of the vehicle was ejected and sustained serious injuries. He was transferred to Grant by Medflight.
The original story reported that two people were injured, this came in from the original report when the driver said there was more than one person in the car. First responders searched the area due to this claim and no one was found.
