Pickaway County – A serious crash occurred in Southern Pickaway County around 6 pm on Friday.
The crash occurred in the area of SR-159 and Hayesville Road just outside of Kingston where one person was reported trapped inside their vehicle when two vehicles crashed at the intersection. According to witnesses, a Blue Chevy pickup truck collided with a grey car in the intersection.
Several units were called to the area including mutual aid from Ross County. When first responders arrived they called for a helicopter to take the victim to the emergency hospital.
One driver was sent to OSU by Medflight, and the other driver was taken to Berger with head injuries.
